Our first meeting for 2024 was a shared lunch at the Moama Football Clubrooms on 14 February. On Sat 28 0ctober 2023, three members and friend visited the stunning gardens at BIRCHWOOD OPEN GARDEN raising money for Cancer Council Victoria & Benalla & Wangaratta Hospitals. We were pleased to have Craig from the Echuca Moama Plant Nursery for our speaker in July. Craig and Kate started out as Garden Planners designing Landscaping and Plant placement in a small shop in Heygarth St Echuca. On Thursday 15 June 2023 the Group took potted plants and cuttings to Echuca Neighbourhood House in Landsborough St to be given to the recent flood victims from the last 2 years, to hopefully reconstruct their gardens. We provided 150 plants approx for about 30 flood relief victims from Rochester, Echuca, Barmah and surrounds. Also

A huge shaded area for Dahlias of all kinds from blowsy to pom poms the colours and form were stunning. Naturally the Chryssies weren’t out yet
